I am the queen bee of planning, artisan details and organization! I chose this career in high school and went off to Johnson & Wales University to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management. So, you can say I pretty much LOVE what I do!! I am a huge foodie, confectionary connoisseur, DIY obsessed, and I am always on the hunt for a vintage treasure or two. I am completely obsessed with Moscow Mules (almost solely for that copper mug!), I am mama to Whiskey, the beyond fluffy cat who looks like a lion, and I always think it’s appropriate to wear a tulle skirt no matter the occasion!
On a serious note, I worked from the ground up in the wedding and event industry for 5 years prior to owning Cristen & Co. It has given me a realistic perspective and appreciation for the work and detail that goes into each and every event. I have extensive tent and décor experience from hanging decorative chandeliers and lighting pieces, furnishing with specialty rentals and adorning fabric to transform an ordinary tent into an elegant ambiance. I’ve also been able to plan and design some extraordinary weddings, galas, bar/bat mitzvahs and intimate celebrations as a lead event producer and designer for some prestigious wedding planners in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
